This Shuttle-Type was introduced 2360 by Starfleet during an Upgrade of the complete fleet.
It is the first Shuttle with a Duranium/Tritanium-Hull and a Computer with Isolinear memory chips.
The Design of this Shuttle-Type was taken and modified from the Type 3 Shuttle.
The USS Voyager possesed at least one of these Shuttles, but over the years several were destroyed, it seems there's
no problem in reverse engineering these. |
